Udine,
a northeastern Italian city, is the capital of the Province of Udine, in
the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region. Udine became part of the kingdom
of Italy in 1866, and was home to the Italian Army during World War
I. The city is also known for its trading. Udine, also
called Tiepolo, is home to many works of art by Tiepolo. Many of
the pieces of art are in the archbishop's palace.
